2.OBJECTIVES/GOALS
(a) to pass JAMB exam with less stress and without cheating you need to learn the secrets of passing and have fun doing so!
(b) Jamb exam is not about studying hard .It is about being smart with techniques. When you are laden with techniques which you have practiced, your feelings of panic will be replaced by an eager anticipation of a battle of wits and you are also filled with the confidence that you can win.
(c)today is a message of hope .Your mind will no longer go blank. You will enjoy yourself so much that you will be limited only by your speed and you won’t even want to stop.
(d) the techniques to be revealed to you during this discourse will help you learn to accept that you need to cut repetitive studies to a minimum.
(e) the same techniques will also help you even during your mock exams in your college to make your tutors remember you with respect. You can also use the techniques to shock the examiners who never believed in you into interest and admiration. These techniques once mastered, can help you call Jamb’s bluff in the coming year.

3.JAMB OVERALL FORMULA (PLAN+PREPARE +PRACTICE=PASS)
(a) You must plan how to study.(PLAN)

(c) You must master JAMB exam techniques.(PRACTICE)
…did lunch come too late for that table flower’s survival?…
4.BEFORE THE EXAM (PLANING HOW TO STUDY)
(a) Work out the days and times available between the day of your planning and two days before the exam.
(b) Determine the time of study to be allocated to each subject from the total time you worked under (a) above
(c) Strategize the most important topics from your syllabus and from past question papers and allocate the time available for each subject over these topics.
(d) Write down the dates and time for each topic as a program.
(e) There is no need to panic even if you have only two weeks before the exam. This program more or less becomes the time–table you will follow.
(f) Remember that you cannot allow your self-doubt or whatever is outstanding in any subject to tie you down or hold you hostage from planning your study. After all, failure in one subject will not and cannot determine your fate as shown below.

(g) Juggle with a combination of scores in your head noting your weak and strong subjects so that you don’t let one subject destabilize your plans or get you down.
(h) Determine within yourself that:
-Before each study period make sure you have the following available with you – study program, JAMB syllabus, JAMB past questions and answer booklet, Objective answer sheets for practice, revision note or “red note”, textbook summaries or the actual textbooks and notes for reference.
- You will attend your lectures regularly.
- Since it is not easy to sit down and start to read meaningfully, your study period should be set at times that will make studying like fun e.g. schedule your studies before something you consider very nice and enjoyable like T.V (PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHES) or snacks or a telephone call i.e. include something that YOU like on the timetable.
